"I love her when she is blonde on stage," the celebrity colorist told Vogue in an interview published May 11. "It's sexy, it looks amazing, and when she gives that infamous Beyoncé flip of the hair, I wanted to make sure the colors come through—and they do, beautifully."
Another reason for the Grammy winner's style change? Rita wanted to make sure the superstar was the main attraction.

For the Renaissance Tour, Beyoncé has been rocking her trademark waves with a middle part. Plus, it's clear that her new dye job pops against the sea of silver-hued bodysuits and rainbow-colored dresses she's donned on stage. "The stage is dramatic," Rita told People in an interview published May 15. "The dances are dramatic. Her music's dramatic. There's a lot going on, so I wanted to make sure you're looking at her all the time."
It's safe to say all eyes will always be on Beyoncé.
